A4: A4 is the global standard (ISO 216) for printing, business stationery, and academic documents. A4 paper size is 210mm × 297 mm (or 8.27 × 11.69 inches) and pixel size is 300 DPI (or 2480 × 3508 pixels)
Ad(s): short for advertisement(s).
ATS: short for Applicant Tracking System. An ATS is a recruiting software used by companies to manage hiring workflows. It acts as a digital gatekeeper, automatically scanning, sorting, and ranking resumes based on keywords, skills, and qualifications before a human recruiter ever sees them.
B+W: short for black-and-white.
C/P: short for cover page.
Color: (English US) alternative spelling for colour.
CV: short for Curriculum Vitae.
Digital agency: offers digital marketing services and social media management.
Doc.: short for document.
Duplex: refers a to double-side printed document.
E-Form: short of electronic form. E-forms are digital documents used to collect, process, submit and store data electronically, replacing traditional paper forms.
E-Shopping: E-shopping (electronic shopping) is the process of buying goods and services directly from sellers over the internet using a computer, tablet, or smartphone
End user: refers to any persons that interacts with this platform or Service.
Fintech: short for financial technology. Fintech is the use of innovative software, mobile applications, and algorithms to deliver and automate financial services. It merges finance with tech to improve payments, banking, lending, and/or investing, often making services cheaper, faster, and more accessible.
FF: short for form factor, refers to SIM card size namely 1FF, 2FF, 3FF and 4FF
Glossy paper: a type of coated white paper that is smooth and highly reflective, perfect for certificate and photograph printouts.
Hub: a business hub is a central location, either physical or virtual, that fosters collaboration, innovation, and growth within a specific industry or sector.
ID: short for identity document.
Innovation: the process of translating creative ideas into practical, value-generating solutions.
Lamination: Lamination is the process of coating a material with a protective layer, such as plastic film. It is widely used to preserve paper documents, enhance printed artwork.
Logo: A logo is a unique visual symbol that represents a business, brand, or product. It acts as the "face" of an identity—combining typography, shapes, and colors to help people instantly recognize and remember a company.
Min: short for minute.
MS: short for Microsoft.
NDH: short for Nexus Digital Hub.
NPO: short for Non-profit Organization.
OS: short for Operating System.
P/O: short for printout.
PC: short for personal computer.
PSSPF: short for Private Security Sector Provident Fund
RSA: short for Republic of South Africa.
SIM: short for Subscriber Identity Module. A SIM, or SIM card, is a small integrated circuit card that securely stores your mobile network identity data to connect your device to a cellular network.
UIF: short for Unempoyment Insurance Fund
USSD: short for Unstructured Supplementary Service Data. Also referred to as quick code, USSD is a session-based GSM protocol that allows for real time direct communicate between mobile phones and a network operator’s systems.
WIN 10: Short for Windows 10. Windows 10 is a widely used operating system, but it reached its official end of support on October 14, 2025. Microsoft no longer provides free technical assistance or security updates for everyday users. It is highly recommended to upgrade to Windows 11 or enroll in Extended Security Updates (ESU) to keep your PC secure
WIN 11: Short for Windows 10. Windows 11 is the current major release of Microsoft's Windows NT operating system (OS), released on October 5, 2021, as the successor to Windows 10 (2015).
WLAN: short for Wireless Local Area Network. A WLAN connects local network nodes using radio technology rather than wired connections. Wi‑Fi is a specific type of WLAN that conforms to the IEEE standard 802.11 and relies on access points (APs) to connect to clients and IoT devices using the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and the 6 GHz band. Other types of WLANs may operate using different bands.
